Hello and happy Thursday to you! I am on a roll here in the office – editing sessions left and right and getting a number of other things taken care of. One recent session I did was with my new friend, Nicole. When she called me and told me her vision for her session, I began leaning more and more towards a portrait / head shot feel with my ideas. I love doing these kinds of portraits for actors, musicians and the like. I wanted to post some of my favorites from my session with Nicole to share with my blog readers what exactly a head shot session looks like. The goal is usually to end up with a small handful of images to be used professionally – to attach to resumes or place on website profiles.
Nicole had a variety of clothing options and a natural gift for modeling for the camera. No, seriously, I didn’t have to say much to get the variety of looks and images I captured. She was a total natural in front of the camera! We had a fab time hanging out and even ended up splitting the session into two days (after a coffee break on the first day, no less!).
