This is one of my favorite sessions from my session-marathon back in October. During that time, I had 17 sessions and two weddings all within 14 days. It was crazy… but crazy fun! These two finished off my two weeks of traveling with a fun-filled session. The rain had been threatening us all day so once again I had client’s preparing for a session in the rain. And once again… the rain gave us a little break and even allowed a bit of sunshine in on this session. I was so grateful!

I love the emotions captured in these pictures. Kellen & Ashley are So in love and have such great chemistry! I am super excited to photograph their wedding day next fall!

Ahhh what an easy model Miss Addison was! As always, I had a great time with her family and capturing her personality at this stage of her life. She just smiled away and gave me lots of fun expressions to photograph. I giggle as I go through her pictures from her session – you can just see her joy and innocence beaming through her smiles! Here are a few of my favorite photos to hold mom and dad over while I finish up the rest.

You probably recognize this momma from some of her previous sessions with me. She originally booked a Baby’s First Year plan with me but has since started pursuing a photography career of her own. Needless to say, her baby boy has become her little model and she no longer needs to pay someone else to take more photos of just him. However, she remained committed to the sessions she previously booked with me and we took this opportunity to approach this particular session as a family session instead so that I could get some great shots of the whole family together. As all photographers know, we are always the last to have our own family portraits taken. I was more than happy to adjust our original plan to what worked best for Samantha and her family.

I love every time we get together. Being able to see Cohen grow has been such a joy. Not to mention, this family makes my job SO easy with their beauty – seriously! Here are some of my favorite images from their session.

While taking a short rest during their reception, I overheard a wedding guest say “He really is a great guy. He totally deserves someone like Angie.”

Ya’ll, that statement right there completely sums up this couple. ~~Good~~ Great people. Totally, completely, utterly in love. Angie was glowing from head to toe all day and Chad couldn’t keep his eyes off of her. Yet, somehow, they managed to make their day about their family and friends. They spent their reception celebrating, loving, and thanking all of the people who have watched them grow up and grow together. It was joyful.

My sister and I, along with the lovely Rachel Clarke, all had an absolutely wonderful time at this wedding. It was beautiful and truly full of joy. I am so excited for Angie and Chad and am actually a little bit sad that it’s all over. But hopefully I will see them again in the future for some fun family sessions.
